Mark Heller is a British director and writer who began his career as an actor, training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). Transitioning to directing, he has helmed several plays in London’s West End, including the world premiere of “The Diary” at the Tabard Theatre and “Writers Block” at the Players Theatre. Heller’s film work includes directing “The Passage,” which was selected for the Toronto Film Festival in 2007, and “The Mulberry Tree,” a drama that garnered multiple festival awards. He has also directed for television, including the BBC drama “Justice,” starring Robert Pugh. In addition to his directing work, Heller teaches masterclasses at institutions such as the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
