BIOG

Emily trained as a Young Director at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester before embarking on the MFA Theatre Directing at Birkbeck and has since been working as a director, dramaturg, facilitator and producer developing and working on musicals, new writing and audio theatre across the UK and Ireland.​

Credits Include; Associate Director on THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON (West End); Associate Director on A Christmas Carol (Birmingham Rep); Assistant Director on THE HISTORY BOYS (UK TOUR/Bath Theatre Royal); Resident Director on WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION (London’s County Hall). Previously she directed and devised song cycle Maple Hall at Arts Ed and is joint Artistic Director of theatre and audio company Obscura Theatre.

Other credits include; Associate Director to Jeremy Sams on Roman Holiday at Theatre Royal Bath, Resident Director on Curve’s West Side Story alongside Nikolai Foster and My Beautiful Laundrette tour.
